Happy 3rd Birthday Ava Grace!

I say this time and time again, but I can't believe how fast the years go by. We are now entering year three of our birthday celebrations. Ava is the first of the crew to turn three and in a few short months it will be Sayer's turn.

Ava's 3rd birthday celebration was a great day filled with things that all kiddos love... a bouncy house, an amazing swing set, lots and lots of outdoor activities, presents and of course - cake! What could be better?

Fun at the park

It's not very often that our weekends aren't jam packed with plans! But, this particular Saturday morning was free, so we took advantage of going to the playground at one of Daddy's schools. Sayer was so adventurous... climbing the rock wall without hesitation and going down every slide by himself. Greyson so badly wanted to join him, but when you can't walk yet, crawling all over the playground just isn't very fun.

Rio... Sayer's 1st Movie Theater Experience

Over Easter weekend we took Sayer to the theater to watch the animated film Rio. I was excited to take him, but was unsure if he would have the patience or interest to sit through the entire movie. He took turns sitting on my lap and his Pepa's lap and did a great job! That was the most cuddle time that I've had with him in a long time, so I loved it! We might have to do this a little more often!

Looking at this picture I realize that my baby is growing up. He looks like such a big boy sitting in the chair by himself with his popcorn and slushie.

Happy Easter!

Easter Weekend was full of fun for this little family of four.

Easter egg hunts, presents, baskets from the Easter Bunny, lots of laughs with family and friends.

Greyson opening his present from Aunt Karen. She always knows how to make this little boy smile!

Greyson and Sayer checking out their Easter baskets from the Easter bunny.

Goofy smile stage for Sayer! This is what I get now when I ask him to say "Cheese" and smile for the camera.

Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail

Eggs, eggs and more eggs!!

What fun the boys had at the Easter Egg Hunt on the Football Field. There were over 5,000 eggs, lots of big prizes and a life size Easter Bunny.

Sayer LOVES football and tackling, so I think he was just as excited about being on the football field as he was putting the eggs in his basket. After the hunt we spent some time letting him tackle daddy on the field.

Week full of fun at school

I LOVE where the boys go to school. The teachers are amazing, the curriculum is superb and some of the most creative women I know work there! This year they had a spirit week at school that was full of fun for the kids.

For this creative mom, I jumped at the chance to participate in every event that week... wacky sock day, favorite sports day and 80s day. This is my attempt at dressing my boys in their 80s outfits! Plaid shorts, popped collar and pushed up sleeves!
