Easter

Easter Sunday was a fun filled day as it is year after year!

Our family and friends came over to our house after church for Easter dinner and an Easter Egg hunt. I was so excited to watch Sayer search for eggs on his first official hunt. We sent the big kids one way and Sayer and Slayton the opposite way to give them an opportunity to actually find some eggs. Although Sayer didn't fully grasp the concept of putting the eggs in the basket, he did seem to get excited when he would spot an egg in the grass.

Here are a some pictures from the day...

Fun at the Farm

Jason flew in for Easter weekend to visit Sayer and take belly pictures for me!

We decided that it would be fun to go to my grandparents farm to take the photos. He's currently editing the belly pics, so I don't have any to post right now, but as soon as they are finished I will upload them. I do however, have a few to share of Sayer.
This is Sayer with my grandpa's army bag.
We came across the bag while cleaning out one of the barn's on the farm.
Sayer had an excellent time running around and playing in the dirt while we were at the farm. Who knew that a stick, some dirt and a pile of leaves could provide so much entertainment.

Buddies...

As Sayer and Slayton get older, it is becoming more and more fun to watch them interact with one another. Finally, they are not just staring at each other from across the room, each playing with their own toys... they are playing with one another.

The Searcey's came over a few weeks ago and the boys were able to play in the ball pit together. They had such a great time and we did to as we watched them play!!

Ba Ball!!!

During March Madness we found out how obsessed our son is with with basketball. Every single time that a basketball game would be on t.v. he would stop whatever it was he was doing and stand in front of the t.v. and point while saying "BaBall".

Shortly thereafter we bought him a mini basketball and Emma let him borrow her Little Tikes basketball hoop. We soon discovered that particular hoop was a bit too tall for Sayer, but it still didn't stop him from wanting to play BaBall with it... even if that meant that Daddy had to lift him up so he could make a basket.

Who knows... maybe one day Sayer will be a basketball player just like his Daddy was!

29 weeks

Here is my 29th week belly shot! This was taken mid-March. I am so far behind in my posting...

Thank you for my drum and maracas!

In March MiMi and Grandpa went on a Caribbean Cruise to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. They brought back many gifts for Sayer, but amongst his favorites were the drum and the maracas! Sayer loves music, dancing and beating on anything with a stick. So, the opportunity to do all three with these toys absolutely thrilled him. Thank you MiMi and Grandpa!
