Brothers...

Since Greyson's arrival, Sayer has not really paid him that much attention. That is until he starts crying!! But, lately Sayer has become more fond of his brother. When he wakes up in the morning, the first word out of his mouth most mornings is "Baby" and when I have Greyson down on the floor Sayer wants to be right there with him. I look forward to the future when Greyson will be able to answer Sayer when he says "Hi"!

Swimming

Mike and I had not taken Sayer swimming since this past winter, so we were excited to get him back in the pool again. A couple of weeks ago we took he and Emma next door for some afternoon fun! We put Sayer in the same floatation device that we used last summer, but he almost exceeded the weight limit! It did the job however!

Sayer loved being splashed and he loved to float by himself! One thing that he didn't understand was that if he leaned too far to one side or the other that he would tip the raft over! You'd think after tipping his head in the water a few times that he would catch on, but he never did!

I hope that he continues to love the water as much as his dad and I still do!

Clifford "The Big Red Dog" Exhibit

A couple of weeks ago Kelly and Stacy and I took the kids to the Clifford exhibit at Crown Center. Although Sayer hasn't read any Clifford books, I thought that he might enjoy seeing everything bigger than life! Boy was I right. He had such a good time running around the exhibit playing with everything. The most exciting thing for Sayer was the play rake and hoe that he found. He did not want to let them go... as you can see from almost every picture I took while we were there. I finally had to steal them and hide them because he tripped and almost impaled a child in the process! He was not a happy camper there for a while, but finally the extra large bones changed his focus and he was off to explore some more!

From the moment that I took the "baby toys" and essentials back out of the closet in anticipation of Greyson's arrival, Sayer was obsessed with them. All the toys to choose from and Sayer is just as content playing under the play gym. It's pretty funny...
