Playing in the Fountains

Monday night Mike came home from work and suggested that we take Sayer to Zona Rosa to play in the fountains. What a great idea that was!

Sayer had such a good time splashing around, getting very wet and running in and out of the water. And Mike and I had just as much fun watching our little buddy smile and laugh hysterically as the water splashed him in the face over and over again.

When it was over we dried Sayer off, changed him into his jammies and headed back home. He slept GREAT that night!

Clifford "The Big Red Dog" Exhibit

A couple of weeks ago Kelly and Stacy and I took the kids to the Clifford exhibit at Crown Center. Although Sayer hasn't read any Clifford books, I thought that he might enjoy seeing everything bigger than life! Boy was I right. He had such a good time running around the exhibit playing with everything. The most exciting thing for Sayer was the play rake and hoe that he found. He did not want to let them go... as you can see from almost every picture I took while we were there. I finally had to steal them and hide them because he tripped and almost impaled a child in the process! He was not a happy camper there for a while, but finally the extra large bones changed his focus and he was off to explore some more!

Getting to be such a big boy!

Sayer is really becoming a big boy!

We have been working hard on mastering the fork and spoon so that Sayer can feed himself! Last week Grammy brought over homemade chicken and noodles for Little Buddy. Sayer started dinner off great by using his spoon to eat the mashed potatoes, however by the end of the meal he realized that it was much easier and faster to just use his hands! What a little nutball!
