Slayton's 1st Birthday

Sayer helped Slayton celebrate his 1st birthday on Mother's Day. He turned one on May 8th and it's hard to believe how fast his 1st year went by. It seems like only yesterday Jonalee was in the hospital giving birth and Mike and I were receiving hourly updates from Chad!

Slayton had a pretty scary year, but he's doing great and growing stronger and bigger everyday. You would never know that he had to undergo major heart surgery.

I can't wait until the boys are actually able to play with each other. Slayton is crawling, but Sayer still can't sit on his own. I think in a few more months things will be totally different!

We love you Slayton and look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you!
