"Manshower" for Mike

On Tuesday, the ladies at Mike's office threw a surprise "Manshower" for him. I drove to Platte City to help them with the surprise... and boy did they surprise him! Mark and Rob were able to get Mike out of the office for a mandatory meeting so the ladies could get everything set up.

When they got back to the office Mike was told that the girls were having a meeting in the conference room and they had a question for him... when he opened the door we all yelled SURPRISE!

They had several "man" games that Mike, Mark and Rob played...

• they drank root beer from baby bottles in a race to see who could finish fastest (Mark won)

• they tasted several different kinds of baby food and had to guess what each item was - I fed Mike on this game and I felt kind of sorry for him. Some of the food looked really disgusting. (Mike won)

• they played the dirty diaper game and had to guess what each melted candybar was in the diaper (Mike won)

They brought in bar-b-que for lunch from Smokehouse... one of Mike's favorites and had a yummy cake for dessert.

Mike opened the gifts, and we received so many wonderful things for Sayer! Mike is so lucky to work with so many thoughtful people. They really made this shower special for daddy and I was happy to sit back and watch him open gifts and be the center of attention for a change!
