Jiggle Jam is one of the best events that Kansas City has to offer for children. Music, dancing, arts and crafts, water fountains, bouncy houses, face painting. You name it - they've got it! We took Sayer last year for the first time and he had a blast (not as much fun for me as I was three days away from delivering Greyson). This year was MUCH more fun for the ENTIRE family!
There is this cool cart with all kinds of junk attached to it that the kids can play with. Cans that they can play "drums" with, mazes and lots of little things to catch their attention.
Sayer was intrigued by one item on the cart. As he got closer to examine it, it squirted water right in his face. He thought that was
sooooo funny! He couldn't quite understand why it squirted him every time he got close to it. He had no idea that the cart man was controlling the squirting via a remote control. Too funny!
Stone,
Slayton and Ava met up with us in the main tent to watch
Choo Choo Soul perform. I had to post this series of pictures because I thought they were funny.
Greyson and Stone sharing some pears...
The main reason we went to Jiggle Jam was to watch
Choo Choo Soul. We caught them last year and Sayer loved them, so I bought the
dvd and
cd and we listen to it all of the time. To be quite honest, I was very excited to see them perform since I know every word to every song (pathetic I know). Sayer wasn't quite sure what to think when they first took the stage, but he was soon interested...
After the concert we took the boys to the spraying fountains. We prepared ahead of time and dressed them in their swimming trunks. We weren't really sure if Greyson would like it, but we had a hunch that he might since he LOVES bath time. We were right. Sorry about all of the pictures... there were so many good ones I had to share!
